Homeschool Students and FMS Organizations

If you are a charter school student or a member of an organization that would like to pay for lessons on your behalf, you are in luck. We are contracted with a wide variety of organizations, including charter schools, FMS orgs, and the San Gabriel Pomona Regional Center. If you belong to a different school or FMS organization, we can add them to our partnership list. See below for the most current list.


Homeschool Students and Lesson Funding

When authorized, your charter school, FMS, or regional center pays the Alhambra School of Music directly for music lessons. If you belong to another charter school or organization, we can become vendors with them as well. Give us a call to initiate the process.

Certain charter schools, such as Mission Vista Academy, will also cover students’ instrument rentals. To check if your charter school covers ancillary services and products, please ask our School Manager or your charter school educational facilitator.

The Alhambra School of Music is an authorized and contracted vendor of many charter schools and FMS organizations. Please see above for a list of schools and organizations we currently contract with. If you belong to a different school or FMS organization, we can add them to our list - just give us a call to begin the process.

1. Check Out Our Website

Check our website to find the instrument you are interested in. All classes and programs offered at the music school are available to homeschool students and students receiving funding.

2. Contact the Music School

Contact us at the Alhambra School of Music at 626-495-1515 to schedule your lessons. Do this as early as possible, as spots fill up quickly. Many of our programs are on waitlists throughout the year, so your promptness is critical in reserving space.

3. Talk to your Educational Facilitator or FMS Coordinator

Talk to your child's educational facilitator or counselor and request purchase orders or funds for the class you chose and scheduled. Certain school employees or FMS coordinators may not be familiar with the PO authorization process, and we can assist, if required.

4. PO Authorization

Your school or FMS will provide the Alhambra School of Music with a Purchase Order (PO) authorizing the lessons or classes. This step will not apply for a family using an FMS.

5. Get Started with Lessons

Once we receive the POs, the student can start his/her lessons and classes. Get ready to have a wonderful musical journey at the Alhambra School of Music.

Our Partners
